American artist Dan Dailey (1947- ) uses glass and metal to create sculpture and functional art, including illuminated lamps. He received his BFA from the Philadelphia College of Art (now University of the Arts) in 1969, before studying glass with Dale Chihuly at the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), earning his MFA in 1972.
